Information collected

When you create an account, WordPress stores information such as your username, email address, and account credentials. Passwords are handled by WordPress in protected form; the site does not display your plain-text password.

If you save cards, the site stores collection details associated with your account, including card identifiers, names, sets, quantities, conditions, and artwork references. Server logs may also contain technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, and timestamps for security and reliability.

Card scanner

The card scanner uses Tesseract.js in your browser to read text from the image you select. Pokemon Card Pulse does not intentionally upload or store that card photo on its WordPress server. The scanner loads software resources from jsDelivr, which may receive ordinary technical request information such as your IP address and browser details.

Cookies and accounts

WordPress uses cookies to support sign-in, account security, preferences, and session management. Local browser storage may also be used for guest watchlists or collection features before a visitor signs in.

Third-party services

The site may connect to TCGdex for card and pricing data, Google services for traffic measurement and search reporting, and eBay when you choose to open an external listing. Those providers process information under their own privacy policies. Clicking an external link takes you to that provider.

Retention and choices

Account and collection information is normally kept while the account remains active or as needed for security and legal obligations. Registered users may update profile information through WordPress. Requests to export or erase personal information will be handled using WordPress privacy tools after account ownership is verified.

Children

The site is intended for a general audience and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate permission.
